Bahria Town hospitals enters into an agreement with London based group of doctors for neurosurgery facilities in the country
Bahria Town, the London Neurosurgery Partnership and the
London Neurosciences Center have agreed to built a spinal and neurosurgery facility at
two Bahria Town hospitals.
Moro ever, Bahria Town CEO Chairman Malik Riaz Hussain and the top 19 surgeons from London’s
world-renowned Harley Street Clinic were also present in the ceremony. The
group of surgeons included Richard Gullan, Irfan Malik, Chris Chandler, Nick
Thomas, David Bell, Christos Tolias, Senan Barazi, Shujjaud Din, Bahram
Fakouri, Saqib Bashir, Shafafi, Arif Khan, Azhar Khan, Dr Zubair, Robert Weeks,
Dr N Ahmad, Dominico Valenti, David Lawrence and Kostas Barakas.
“The partnership will help establish world class spinal and
neurosurgery, rehabilitation and nerve injury repair centers in Bahria Town
hospitals at Bahria Enclave Islamabad and Bahria Golf City Islamabad,” as per a
statement issued by a Bahria town official.
“For this purpose, machinery and equipment have already been
purchased and the installation will be completed by October under the supervision
of British surgeons,” the officials added further.
Whilst talking to the reporters, Malik Riaz further added:
“My dream is to build a high tech holistic care centre… I am happy that today
we are working towards achieving this purpose.”
