Bahria Town honored with the 11th environment excellence award


Renowned Real estate developer group Bahria Town (Pvt) Ltd has been recently honored for their brilliant work done in the field of  Environmental, Health & Safety in  “Housing and Development” by the National Forum for Environment & Health (NFEH).Talking about NFEH, it is country’s leading non profitable and no government  organization which encourages its members to look forward to better practices in the direction of better environmental efficiencies after improving general health and safety standards.


The NFEH is further affiliated to the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP), which functions in association with the Ministry of Environment (MOE), and Ministry of Environment, Sindh.

The annual event of 11th Environment Excellence Awards was held at Lahore on September 27th and been organized by NFEH. Moreover, the Governor of Punjab, Chaudary Muhammad Sarwar also attended the event whilst being the chief guest on the occasion. Talking about the list of awardees, the Senior General Manager, Lt. Col Khalid Masood Malik (Ret) was honored with the prestigious award on behalf of Bahria Town which has come forward as the first Housing and Development Company to be awarded with the same honor.
